NB Check week 6 (20 pts), Q. 2.5-2.7 (16 pts) and SAT Practice 6-10 (5 pts) due today!

Ch. 2 Practice Test
  1. calculate the slope btwn A(-5, 3) and B(-10, -8)
  2. determine if the following is a direct variation. If yes, then identify the constant of variation and write an equation: x=12 when y=36, x=16 when y=48, and x=20 when y=60.
  3. find f(2/3) if f(x)=5x-6
  4. Determine if the following is a function: (5,3) (2,6) (7,6)(4,-1)
  5. Determine if the following is a function: (10,4)(8,4)(12,4)(8,6)
  6. write the equation of a line in standard form if m=4 and contains (-6, 10)
  7. write the equation of a line in standard form if m=-3/5 and contains (7, -11)
  8. write the equation of a line in slope-intercept form if m=2/7 and contains (-10, 5)
  9. write the equation of a line if it contains (2,5) and (12, -3)
  10. graph: y-6=-2(x+5)
  11. graph: y=-1/4x +6
  12. graph: 2x-3y=8
  13. graph: y=2x+6-3
  14. graph: y-3 is greater than or equal to 4/3x-5
  15. graph by making a TOV: y is less than -3x-9+1
  16. graph by writing 2 equations: y+2 greater than 1/2x-4+6

The Ch. 2 Test will be next Tuesday so it is VERY, VERY, VERY IMPORTANT (ESTA MUY IMPORTANTE) to practice these problems this weekend!!!! This is a HUGE test grade that can either drastically save your grade or drown your grade. YOU decide!
